- Born Dec 8 1950,Hutchinson Kansas, raised in a Air Force family, moved 10 times and went to 9 different schools before i graduated from yamato high school Japan in 1969.

Flying Tigers operated in and out of Tachikawa until we out grew the runway. Then we moved over to Yokota. But we still laid over in Tachikawa town. We stayed in the Old Plaza hotel. Spent a lot of time in the civilian club on Tachikawa AB. !966 to 1970 then we started staying around Yokota more. We got snowed in, in March of 1969 for 3 days. What a party that was. Great times back then.
