I saw many a movie there also in the 54-56 timeframe as an AF dependent. The one that sticks with me the most was the first showing of the "Seven Samurai" - it's still a classic. Just watched it the other night.
I spent much time there as an airman enjoying many films of the day back in 56-58. My barracks was right around the corner and there was also a base library on the side of this building. This building was the largest on Tachi and I was told it housed a wind tunnel for testing aviation concepts back in WWII. Cheers! Rodger

It's still the same. I've seen many a movie in that old theatre - 1950-52.
